the story of a dead heart
I’ve often heard about
From this long-abandoned place
That’s the story
From a heart
Death.
He lived in a beautiful chest. The sun bathed him in its light.
Then one day there was an eclipse.
The heart felt abandoned, relieved
Unloved.
Everywhere, black
Darkness
Uncertainty
It was only for a short time
Oh, yes! So little time.
But the chest was so scared
Let his wood get wet
Let the termites gnaw at him
And devour the beautiful golden ones of its roof.
The heart, before being surprised
And to be taken to some distant place
In the unknown of the world of insects,
Preferred to stop.
When the sun returned, there was no small chest left.
So many fresh wooden blades
And the little heart
The eternal silence of sadness.
