take life as it comes
Take life as it comes. Its faults, its misunderstandings, its joys, its tomorrows.
The memories of yesterday are the living testimony of our moments, our sorrows, and our successes.
The joyful laughter always ends up stopping, but the memory of the smiles remains anchored in us forever.
Absence is a difficulty that cannot be removed. It softens with active memory, remembrance of the heart, reunions with those we love.
Everyone dies one day.
Some leave surrounded by their loved ones, others disappear alone.
Closed hearts are the hardest to satisfy. They wander here and there, without ever landing, because they don’t know what they are looking for. They know what they are avoiding, but not what they are looking for. They don’t know which direction to take, just which ones not to go.
Our heart is open as soon as we can listen to it and move in a direction of our own free will.
A part can remain closed. Another can remain open. One difficulty is managing to open everything up, to face yourself, your fears, what you have hidden from yourself, what you don’t dare say to yourself. We always avoid the paths that frighten us, that make us go through the suffering of the past.
But avoiding does not allow orientation.
Life can come and give us all the elements to open our hearts, to ourselves and to others. But if the door is left closed, it will remain closed, and the elements will remain unused. We have to trust each other. Dare to go through suffering, just once, to find a peace of mind that we would never have had otherwise.
This is why I write.
To go through my suffering, and help others go through theirs, as gently as possible.
When you understand your feelings, it is easier to situate yourself and move forward.
